Monday 19th September was a big if not monumental day for me. Its the day my book which id worked on for 4 years was available to buy. Yes it was self published that doesnt make it bad though.
A lot of kindle self publishers claim they chose to publish there instead of traditionally. Im not gonna lie my first choice was traditional publishing. That didnt happen, so I decided kindle was my last option.
To date I sold 2 copies in 2 days. One was to my dad and while its excellent to have a supporting dad I need to sell to someone I dont know to feel validated. I posted on facebook asking the second buyer to own up. Nobody did, does that mean I sold my first copy to a stranger? I hope so.
Im gonna send it to some reviewers too, maybe after a couple of (hopefully favorable) reviews it will sell more.
Ill chronicle this small journey of mine then if I do become successful people can read how. Adios for now
